About Poetry with Prakriti:
As a part of our endeavour to take poetry to diverse audiences, we are engaging with various organisations to make poetry more acessible to the public. And this is one such intiative. ‘Poetry with Prakriti’ began in 2007, as a ten-day annual festival and is currently a monthly seris. Poetry events and performances are being conducted in different venues every month includng cafés, metro stations, bus stations, centres of corporate houses etc.

About Ishvar Krishnan:
Acting as nothing but a mediator between the voice of his soul and words on a page, Ishvar Krishnan writes poetry as an expression of/to/for the self. Death, emptiness, philosophy and spirituality are what drive him to pick up the pen and let the ink flow. He has a video-editing background and also performs on the visual and stage medium. Curating open mic poetry sessions, along with organising workshops are a few other things he dabbles with. Currently, he is working on an experimental performance, ‘I have seen me die: The lost Ramana’.
