K. Siva Reddy taught English for thirty-five years in Vivek Vardhini College, Hyderabad, and retired as the principal of the same college.
A few of his published works are Charya, Ajeyam and Raktam Suryadu. He has translated African and European poems into Telugu.
The awards and honours received by him include the Central Sahitya Akademi Award, Siddartha Kalapeetham Puraskaram, Dr. Somasunder Sahitya Puraskaram and Visala Sahiti Award.
He has also worked on an offbeat film called ‘Pratusha’ as a scriptwriter.
